This cake can resemble a bit of a Christmas cake, but it is not. I will always argue that it can be eaten year-round. It is quite different in taste compared to the traditional cheesecake. My wife actually said, after having tasted around 200 different cheesecakes, that it was “refreshingly different”. Of course, everything should be taken with a grain of salt, but she is right that it is different – and has earned its place in this book. If you are not a fan of orange chocolate, you can simply use plain dark chocolate instead.
