The classic “New York” cheesecake
The simple cheesecake: a Digestive base, cream cheese filling with vanilla and lemon, and fruit as topping.

A little handwritten note, included in memory of Tutter.
My dear friend unfortunately lost his mother “Tutter” in a tragic accident. Two months earlier, we were at dinner with some mutual friends, when Tutter pulled me aside and handed me a little handwritten note. The note described “Etta’s cheesecake”, and she explained that this was the recipe for a real cheesecake, which I could consider adding to my book. And although the recipe is different compared to the others, I have still decided to include it in memory of Tutter and all her love and care that she had for her community.
The full ingredient list, exact measurements and step by step method for Tutter’s cheesecake are printed in Cheesecakes to Die For, alongside every other cheesecake in the collection.

An alternative to the traditional Digestive base, with a nut base instead.

My niece Ann did not agree with me that cheesecakes have to be baked.
